We are pleased that the second issue of Hiwar was prepared by the Barlaman NGO, an Egypt-based non-profit think tank which conducted the national study in Egypt under CAWTAR's regional project on Arab Women and Local Governance.

The issue includes information on Barlaman's activities under its partnership with CAWTAR on this project on local governance and its other relevant advocacy efforts its network.
